On June 5, 2006, I became a father. Or, I should say, on that date I officially began the process of becoming a father. I am utterly unqualified to be a Dad, thus I absolutely have no idea what I am doing. Nevertheless, I seem to be doing it, somehow.
So, now it's Father's Day, and I'm a Dad. I'm a big ole Dad on Father's Day, because I have a son and a wife and I am, apparently, a grown up person. Despite the fact that I still love Star Wars and video games and roller coasters and Nutter Butters, I am an adult, responsible for the health and well-being of this tiny little guy.
It makes my brain to think about the reality of the situation. I am managing not to be utterly terrified, which is good, I think...
